How To make a stone statue using Photoshop

This tutorial will show you how to take a normal photo and make it look like a stone statue.

Here is s a photo I have found

And here is a texture I have found and you could find something similar.

Now, on your first layer, insert your picture. Now make a layer above your picture, and fill it with your texture, by copying and pasting it until it totally fill up the body of the person. Then set your image to gray-scale. To set your image to gray-scale, go to image>mode>gray scale and choose “don’t flatten”

Next your texture filled layer needs to be set to “overlay” mode. Once this is done duplicate your overlayed layer, one or two times, depending on how rocky you want your image to be. When you have done this, you should have something like the image below.

And that is a pretty basic way of  How To make a stone statue using Photoshop.
