How to censor a numberplate
This Adobe Photoshop tutorial will teach you how to censor a number plate. You can use this effect hide the characters of a number plates. This is useful if you don’t want anyone knowing your car registration number.
There are 2 ways of doing this, i think my way looks better than pixelated out letters!
Censor number plate
Step 1
find a numberplate you want to hide
Step 1
Step 2
Right Click the button below and select “Patch Tool”
Step 2
and make a selection around the area you want to censor like below:
Numberplate
Make sure “Source” is selected
Source
Step 3
Now drag the selection to a “PLAIN NON PATTERNED AREA, e.g body panel like car door or WINDOW like i have done”
Step 3
You should now have a number plate removed and looking nicer than crappy pixelated tutorial that you get on other blogs.
